First off, y’all showed me so much love last week after my very first Cooped Up went out, and I’m feeling like the Beyoncé of newsletters right now. Seriously, thanks for all the replies and kind words—you made my inbox the happiest it’s been since tracking numbers for online shopping became a thing.
Let’s keep this party going.

Out & About (or Just Out)
Paddington in Peru: A Bear-y Good Time
Claire and I were invited to a sneak preview of Paddington in Peru, and I’m here to report that this bear still has it. Heartwarming, funny and yes—I teared up a little. (But in my defense, Paddington is the emotional support bear we all need.)
It’s also a veritable who’s who of Britain’s comedy greats, including two of my absolute faves—Olivia Colman and Julie Walters. If you’re looking for a feel-good movie that doesn’t make you question the state of humanity, this is it. It hits theaters tomorrow!

Life Hacks & Other Lies
The 2-Minute Photo Decluttering Hack
I have 32,538 photos, videos and screenshots on my phone. Yes, you read that right. And no, I don’t know why. (Okay, I do—it’s all those “I’ll refer to this later” screenshots that I obviously never look at again.) But I found a hack to finally start dealing with them without losing my mind.
Here’s what you do:
- Open your Photos app.
- Search today’s date (like February 13).
- It’ll pull up all the photos, videos and screenshots you’ve taken on that date over the years.
- Spend two minutes deleting the random screenshots, blurry selfies, and accidental pics of the inside of your pocket.
I’ve started doing this daily, and it’s shockingly manageable. Plus, you get to revisit old memories while pretending to be productive. It’s like digital spring cleaning, but without the actual effort.

The Best Valentine’s Gift (That You Can Still Get Today)
If you’ve procrastinated on Valentine’s Day shopping (no judgment), I’ve got you covered. This Aura digital photo frame is the single best gift I’ve ever given anyone. And that’s not an exaggeration! In fact, I own two myself, and trust me—this isn’t just some random gadget.
It’s super easy to use and makes it look like you put way more thought into your gift than you actually did. For an extra touch, you can even add photos to it from your phone before you give it, without ever opening the box. So when they unwrap it, the frame is already preloaded with memories. Mind. Blown.
Amazon can probably have it to you this afternoon, so you don’t look like you forgot Valentine’s Day. You’re welcome.
