Here are some examples of my recent video work
Introduction
Hi there, I’m Cooper!
Seat Doctors Leather Repair
I’ve always said I plan to age gracefully with just the right amount of outside assistance. Turns out, my ten-year-old Range Rover feels the same way. The driver’s seat and door handles were showing their age, but Todd fixed them up with Seat Doctors crack filler and leather dye. Thirty minutes, forty bucks, and now she looks brand new again. Now if only someone could do the same for me.
Pestie DIY Pest Control
I’ve been on this whole “I can do that” DIY kick lately. Fixing, spraying, all the things. Okay, maybe only just now starting the spraying because I knew my ADHD brain would 100% forget to actually do it on schedule. But Pestie literally mails me the treatment when it’s time. All for about $200/year instead of the $1,200 we’ve been spending. The bugs are gone, and Daddy’s shoe fund is replenished.
Lawn Chair Rehab with Lowe’s
I turned a patch of our lawn into a place to sit in the mornings with my tea and my dog. No new furniture required. I just gave some old, neglected chairs a quick refresh for under $50 in supplies from Lowe’s. Small effort, big payoff!
Michael’s Wreath-Making Tutorial
After pruning magnolias in my backyard, I made a wreath from the branches. My longtime friend Tamara Day inspired me with her video about doing the same with branches from her yard. It turned out so cute for my first try at this sort of thing! Just $10 in supplies from Michael’s and 30 minutes of my time. I love it!
Dwell With Dignity Thrift Shop
Just dropped a few designer dollars at The Library, a chic little thrift pop-up from Dwell With Dignity that’s giving Neiman’s energy at Homegoods prices. This spot in the Dallas Design District is packed with high-end home décor donated by luxe brands and sold at deep discounts. Proceeds help furnish homes for folks transitioning out of homelessness, which means my shopping spree is practically a charitable act. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
